Community Guidelines

Welcome to this Blog!

This is a safe place where people with similar concerns or issues can come together and discuss advice and share their stories. I want everyone to be a part and where everyone’s voice can be heard, with feedback and open discussions. A platform to listen to both sides’ opinions without all of the venomous comments.

To help everyone enjoy, I ask commenters that you keep in mind the following guidelines when posting:

  • Commenters should be fair and civil.
  • No offensive or threatening responses
  • No name-calling
  • No discriminatory comments
  • No trolling
  • Treat others as you would like to be treated.
  • Reserving the right to delete comments at our discretion and block repeat offenders
  • Different viewpoints are welcome, but respect other people’s different life experiences
  • Do not post personal information that you would not want to share with strangers.

I want the commenters to have a conversation about issues they feel they already know about, but also have the bravery to hear another viewpoint helps everyone be open-minded and learn.

The community will flag inappropriate comments.

As stated above, the community will flag inappropriate comments. Freedom of speech does not have to be inappropriate. The internet is a form of technology used to communicate and connect the world. Using online communities requires an evolved behavior of respect and reasoning. If the conversation can’t be civil, our administrator will flag the post of the account.

The guidelines on removing comments

If the comments are inappropriate, the guidelines state the post will be removed. Our administrator will take a screenshot for their record, remove the post, and turn off further commenting after resolving the issue.

Guidelines on banning people entirely.

Rules and policies are everywhere and for a good reason. Policies protect everyone in the community. The administrator can remove and block the person responsible for the inappropriate post. Online community guidelines are necessary to keep the conversation civil and a safe place for everyone. Thank you for your participation and understanding.
